About Us

Cub Scout Pack 3938 is chartered by Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington, Illinois and meets regularly at the church.  Our Cub Scout Pack was founded in 1960.  This is an active Cub Scout Pack run by excellent parents.  We value diversity, so you do not need to be a member of Trinity Church or School to be part of our Pack.

Cub Scout Packs are made up of “Dens” with each Den consisting of boys and girls in the same grade.  Each Den has one or more adult leaders.  Dens meet individually on a monthly basis (usually on the first and third Monday nights) and the Pack (which is all of the dens) meets once a month in the evening (usually on the fourth Monday of the month).

Why Join?

Cub Scouting teaches and reinforces many core skills and values.  Our sons and daughters can learn while they're having fun.  Activities that Cub Scout Pack 3938 has done in the past include:

• Building & launching model rockets
• Hiking at Moraine View State Park
• Family camping at Comlara Park
• Pinewood Derby
• Had fun at Cub Scouts Day Camp
• Watch the Kwahadi Native American dancers from Texas
• Enjoyed S'Mores at Sugar Grove Nature Center
• Blue & Gold dinner
• Campfires
• Raingutter Regatta
• As well a large variety of other activities

How Do I Join Cub Scouting?

Cub Scouting is open to any boy or girl in the Kindergarten through 5th grades.  For more information please feel free to drop us a message: cubmaster@pack38.org.

Registration can also be done through beascout.scouting.org/.

Cub Scouting is for parents, too!

Active, committed leaders and parents are the heart and soul of a successful Cub Scout pack.  A little time and a little effort can make a huge difference in a young child's life.  Volunteer to help at one of our many events... you'll be glad you did!

My son is a 5th Grader, now what?

Many of our Cub Scouts continue on in Boy Scouts.  Our corresponding Boy Scout Troop (Troop 938) operates out of Trinity Lutheran Church as well.
